How do I pair my Bluetooth headset?

Basic Pairing Instructions for All Models

  1. Making sure that your Blue Tiger Bluetooth headset is in the "off" position (no light flashing on the side of the headset), press and hold the multi-function button for about 10 seconds, until the LED light begins alternating between red and blue flashes. The multi-function button is the button located where the microphone arm connects to the headphone. This will place the headset into "pairing mode" allowing it to connect with another Bluetooth device.
  2. On your phone or other Bluetooth device, go to your Bluetooth menu (sometimes located under Settings, Wireless, Connectivity, or another submenu), and select "Add New" or "Search for New Devices." With your Blue Tiger in pairing mode, your phone or other Bluetooth device should locate your headset.
  3. On your phone or other Bluetooth device, select your headset on the list. Your device may ask for a passcode. If so, input "0000."
  4. On your phone or other Bluetooth device, select "Connect" or "Automatically Connect."

Multi-point Pairing Instructions (Pro and Elite models only)

  1. Pair the headset as normal with the first phone.
  2. Turn the Bluetooth function off on the first phone. 3. Turn the headset off and then pair the headset with the second phone.
  3. Turn back on the Bluetooth function on the first phone.

At this time, both phones should be paired with the headset. For functions such as Voice Dial and redial, the headset will automatically connect to whichever phone it had the most recent active connection with.

  1. Turn Off Your Phone and Headset
  2. Turn Your Phone Back
  3. Retry the Pairing Sequence

Additional Steps
Sometimes, a more in-depth approach is needed to get things going. If you have tried the above with no success, then take the additional step of deleting all devices in your Bluetooth device list and then follow the instructions above one more time. In some devices, the menu option for deleting a device is called "Forget Device" or "Forget Connection."

How long does my headset take to charge?

Blue Tiger headsets require a charge time of about four hours in order to obtain a full charge. While we recommend removing your headset from the charger after four hours, leaving it on longer will not harm your headset.

What range does my Bluetooth device have?

Most Bluetooth devices, including Blue Tiger headsets and accessories, have a range of about 10 meters (30 feet). However, there are factors that can increase or decrease your range and signal strength.

Like most radio transmissions, line of sight plays an important role. If your headset has a clear line of sight to your phone, you may be able to go beyond the 30 feet mark. On the other hand, if you do not have good line of sight or have something like a wall between the headset and phone, your range may be reduced.

Additionally, other factors may interfere with Bluetooth signal transmission. Devices emitting radio waves, or minor non-harmful radiation from every day electronic devices. The best way to avoid interference is to remove your phone or other Bluetooth device from contact or close proximity to the source.

  • Wait for your computer to configure your headset and update your existing drivers automatically. An internet connection may be required to complete this process. Once completed, your headset should be ready to use.

Troubleshooting
If your headset is connected, but you cannot hear audio from your computer, check to make sure that the headset is selected as your default playback device.

My Elite series headset is too tight/loose, what can I do?

Our Elite series Bluetooth headsets feature FlexBand™ technology, allowing for the headband to be completely flexible and mold-able to the users head.

  • Placing your thumbs just over the "B" in the Blue Tiger logo, gently flex the headband out putting a small bend in the alloy core. Don't worry, if you bend too much, you can always put it back.
  • Then, repeat the process on the right side, placing your thumbs on each side of the "R" in the Blue Tiger logo.

Keep in mind, these are general instructions. You may find that for your head shape, you may need to adjust the band in a different area in order to achieve the right fit. The FlexBand™, when correctly adjusted, should be not too tight, and not too loose, providing you with the perfect fit that is comfortable to use for hours at a time.

This way, the most recent data is stored and you do not need to add additional memory once the capacity is reached. You may set the video record time to 2 minutes, 3 minutes, or 5 minutes of recording before the camera begins recording a new clip.

Use the left/right arrows to select “motion detection” and use the camera/ok button to turn on/off.
